Multi-Faceted 40” Folding/Gluing System Offers Inline CD/DVD Insertion, 16 Glue Heads to Increase Capabilities at Full-Service Houston-Based Binding and Finishing Provider

The new Bobst Fuego recently installed at Seidl’s Bindery, Houston, TX, includes 16 glue heads and four folding stations for unparalleled versatility.

Houston, TX - Seidl’s Bindery, a full-service binding and finishing provider specializing in high-volume PUR adhesive binding, folding/gluing and die cutting production, has recently installed a state-of-the-art Bobst Fuego folding/gluing system.

The 40” Bobst Fuego system offers industry-leading speed and versatility for the conversion of direct mail pieces, pocket folders, point-of-purchase displays, CD and DVD boxes, product packaging and similar items.

The system features 16 start-stop glue heads capable of applying hot or cold glues depending on the requirements of each project. Four folding stations offer easy conversion of multi-panel applications. Inline CD and DVD insertion allows the Fuego to produce disc-bearing mailers completely inline. A high-pressure stacker ensures that converted pieces exhibit a consistent shape and sufficient strength.
