Index tabs make managing content in bound materials fast and easy. Each row of tabs in a book is called a bank. To determine tab length for your project, take your page length, subtract 1/2" and divide the remainder by the number of tabs you need. For example, if you'd like four tabs on an 11" sheet of paper, each tab should be 2-5/8" long. Once the calculations have been made, copy can be appropriately positioned.
